Romanian Encounter – Day Trip

Drive to Sinaia after breakfast. Visit the summer residence of the first Romanian King – Peles Palace. Just a short walk through the forest is Sinaia Monastery, dating since 1695. Enjoy the sightseeing tour of Brasov, including the Black Church, St. Nicholas Church, the Town Square and a charming Farmers’ Market. Have a taste of Romanian cuisine in the resort up the mountain, Poiana Brasov! For your protection, visit Dracula’s Castle, in Bran, before dusk. Lunch

Touch of Transylvania

Day 1 - Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday
After breakfast, drive to Sinaia. Visit the summer residence of the royal family, Peles Palace. Do not miss the Sinaia Monastery, settled in 1695. Cross the Carpathians to Bran village, to visit the famous Dracula Castle. In the afternoon enjoy the city tour of the Brasov city. Continue your journey to Sighisoara (best preserved medieval town throughout Europe and continuously inhabited since Middle Ages), where you will spend the night.

Day 2
Start your day with a walking tour of Sighisoara fortified town, including the Clock Tower and the History Museum. On the way back to Bucharest, stop to visit the peasant fortified stronghold in Prejmer. Wrap up your Transylvanian outing with a taste of Romanian cuisine accompanied by traditional folk music and dances.

Day 2
After breakfast, get introduced to the Bulgarian capital. Your Sofia highlights include the National History Museum, displaying the gold and silver Thracian treasures, and the Boyana Church, listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage site, one of Bulgaria's most significant historical treasures dating back to the 13th century. Other points of interest during the tour will be the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, the Rotunda of St George, the St Nicholas Russian Church and the Banya Bashi Mosque. A taste of the traditional Bulgarian cuisine accompanied by a folklore show will conclude your day.
